Jenny took us on when we decided we needed a more engaged agent, and she has made things happen. She listened to what we wanted and showed us properties we had not considered because we didn’t know about them. She made sure we got to see first one house, then another, then both again. Jenny gave us good feedback on our thoughts about each house, our offer, and about the local market, which is different from the one we left. She told us that an offer was expected on the house we eventually bought, and when we made the offer, she worked hard and fast to get it through first, interrupting a dinner out with friends to get our offer in. That made the difference in our getting the house, in the end. The seller had two offers, but gave us the counter-offer first because we had been first in line.
Jenny also went the extra mile in getting us access to the house so we could order blinds, take measurements, and so on, and she has followed up with the builder to make sure the punch list is completed. She’s provided recommendations for landscapers, painters, and has made it possible for workmen to come in when we are out of town and they need access.
Jenny brought us a new-owners gift - custom made - and made a charitable contribution in our name as part of the commission she earned. We strongly feel we were the ones who should have brought a thank-you gift to her, as she has made this whole process smooth and stress-free, and has made us feel welcome as new residents.
